Brilliant licensed art and history guide, PhD, with two decades experience in Venice, Florence, Rome, the Cinque Terre, Tuscany, the Vatican, Pompeii, Sicily and more. I will design itinerary based on your background and interests, arrange skip-the-line museum tickets, a minivan with private driver and a boat ride, show you the hidden beauties of Florence, take you to my favorite local restaurant and on the most panoramic hike, talk art, history, Italian life and politics, and I can even cook for you a real Sicilian meal! Pleasure in life must be holistic - and Italy is an ideal country for this. My tours of Florence are outstanding - my experiences of Tuscany and the Cinque Terre are sublime - my Venice is passionate like Casanova - my Rome is layered like a delicious cake - and my Sicily is breathtaking. I am driven by admiration for local Italy, my home over the past 25 years. Here, I studied in Rome and Florence, worked in Parma, and of course fell in love - in Sicily. I enjoy sharing my passion for Italy with others, backed by research insight, attention to detail and local knowledge.

My Mission
My mission is to share genuine, unique and uniquely yours Italy that will remain in your memory and heart for life. Italy has too much to see, savor, and learn for a Rick Steve's or a big anonymous tour group. Italy offers such a wealth of beauty, art, culture, and history that every visit needs to be tailored to the character, interests and constraints of each individual traveler. There is almost an infinite variety of destinations and experiences in just one country, making my vacation designer job extraordinarily creative and novel with each new guest.
My Vision
Italian vacation starts when you land and ends when your plane takes off again. Everything in between is my work, from transfers to lodging, from meals to museums, shopping and leisure. I take the planning stress out and make your vacation a breeze. Designing your vacation in Italy starts with a voice or video interview that lasts about 30 minutes. The more I learn about you, your character, preferences and constraints, the more tailored your Italy experience will become. We talk thru different alternatives, dates and locations, and I email you a day-by-day itinerary outline based on our conversation. ”Anna was AMAZING!!!!! It rained and we were unable to go to the cinque terra! My kids were so worried and upset it was my twins bday - Anna came up with a whole new itinerary that avoided all the rain and made for a FABULOUS day!! We hiked the Tuscany, visited an amazing medieval town which had the best meat we have ever tasted and had lunch at a farmhouse!!! She even brought candles and a present with her so we could celebrate them!!!!! Highly recommend”
